Mythic Greek Salad aka Horiatiki Salata

Greek salad

Ingredients:  (2-4 servings as a shared dish/1-2 servings as a main meal)

- 2 tomatoes

- 1 cucumber (with the skin)

- 1 red bell pepper

- ½ red onion

- 8 Kalamata olives

- 1 tablespoon capers

- 150 gr. feta cheese

for the dressing:

- 4-6 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil

- 1-2 tablespoons vinegar of red wine

- 1-2 teaspoons ArgoHerbs Greek Salad Mix

for the serving:

- fresh crusty bread

Instructions:

1. Prepare the Vegetables: Wash and chop the tomatoes, cucumber, red onion, and green bell pepper. Place them in a large salad bowl.

2. Add the Kalamata olives, and the capers, and crumble the feta cheese in the bowl with the vegetables.

3. Prepare the Dressing: In a separate small bowl, whisk together the extra-virgin olive oil, red wine vinegar and the ArgoHerbs Greek Salad Mix. Taste the dressing and adjust the seasoning if needed to suit to your taste.

4. Toss the Salad: Pour the dressing over the salad ingredients in the large bowl.

5. Mix everything gently but thoroughly, ensuring that the dressing coats all the ingredients.

6. Serve: Serve with some crusty bread if you like.
